Welcome to Threshold Spaces Consultancy. On this website you will find information about my work as a consultative supervisor, facilitator, spiritual director, retreat facilitator and consultant. I chose the image of Threshold because it captures for me the call to engage in the deeper mystery of living.

Facilitation
Facilitation is a powerful tool that enables groups and individuals to effectively meet goals and achieve their purpose.
Reflective Practice
Reflective practice can be described as the act of looking back towards (reflection on action), or looking closely at an experience taking place in the here and now (reflection in action).
Pastoral Supervision
Pastoral Supervision finds its roots in the Gospel where Christ is our model of the good supervisor. He fostered an environment of experiential learning; sending his disciples out to minister; on their return drawing them aside to reflect on their experience.

Conflict Resolution & Mediation
Mediation is a voluntary process in which two or more parties involved in a dispute work with an impartial individual, the mediator, to generate their own solutions in settling their conflict.
Consultative Supervision
In supervision generally, a more experienced practitioner is available to a less experienced one to discuss the latter’s work , its impact on them, and to support them in the planning and doing of this work.
Work Examples
On this page you will find some examples of the work I have undertaken over the past number of years.
Spiritual Direction
We long for a safe harbour, a place where we can explore the deeper questions - about God, life, meaning, purpose and calling. We need to be held in a sacred space and trusted to find our own deeper connection with spirit...
Retreats
I’ve been involved in retreat work for more than 30 years; working with a wide variety of groups in a wide variety of settings using a wide variety of styles and resources. My style is creative and reflective. I particularly enjoy the art of storytelling; sharing classical stories that are rich in symbolism and metaphor as a springboard to explore the spiritual life.
Storytelling
At the heart of every great story is a call to personal and communal change and transformation. In my work I like to blend traditional storytelling with personal and small group reflection. I choose stories gathered from different times, cultures and traditions.
